SURJ signed onto the We Ain’t Buying it boycott campaign led by Black Voters Matter, Indivisible, and other national orgs that asked consumers to not shop at Home Depot, Target and Amazon from Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday – working to hit these corporations that have sided with the Trump regime on the weekend where they need shoppers the most.
Partnering with Solidarity Organizing Initiative, we organized distributed actions outside of Home Depots to call attention to Home Depot allowing ICE on their properties and ask shoppers to turn away and shop elsewhere that weekend.
6,281 people signed the pledge to boycott with SURJ, with 35 actions held across the country.
