Full time, Remote, $65,000 plus benefits
The GA Statewide organizer will play a lead role in expanding SURJ’s issue and electoral organizing in Georgia. The position will focus on dramatically expanding the organization’s base in rural communities, developing campaign strategy, and moving people to take action on chosen issues as well as for key electoral races in 2022 and 2024. The position will train and coach SURJ members in core field and phone skills and has bottom-line responsibility for building out new electoral campaign programs that contribute to getting Republicans out of office in GA, building support for economic justice initiatives, and electing progressive champions in the state of Georgia.
