All positions are remote with some travel required throughout the year. Data Director

Full time, Remote, $80,000

The Data Director is responsible for the strategic cohesion and day-to-day functioning of all of SURJ’s data systems including VAN, EveryAction, and Civis. They are responsible for strong coordination and communication related to data use across the organization, supporting data staff, and ensuring the integrity and security of the organization’s data and data systems. As this is a new position, the Data Director will conduct an assessment of SURJ’s current use of data and data systems and identify any strategies, tools, integrations, and/or automations needed to elevate SURJ’s efficiency, sophistication, and impact. The Data Director will also work with the Managing Director, Assistant Director, Political Director, National Network Director and others to design and actualize a cohesive three-year data plan that supports the organization’s goals, and the Data Director will help design and manage the set of tools, systems, people, and processes required to put that plan into action.

Georgia Canvasser

Part time, $25/hour

SURJ is seeking Canvassers to go door to door to talk to residents of Cobb and north Fulton Counties using deep canvassing techniques to have high quality conversations about democracy and elections. This is non-partisan work: We will not be canvassing for any candidate or party, but instead engaging voters around their opinions
about election integrity.
